Symphony at Light Speed–300 Years of Music in an Afternoon
To kick-off this cosmically-inspired season, we will celebrate exactly 300 years of music in a single afternoon: From J.S. Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto 4, written in 1711, to Isidora Zebeljan’s “Seliste” (Deserted Village) written in 2011. Works by Edvard Grieg and Gerald Finzi round out the program.
