Join us for this slightly spooky concert featuring ghostly rags, and music from the thrillers The Brood and Psycho. Pianist Geísa Dutra will join the orchestra for Franz Liszt’s Malédiction for piano and strings.

An English Holiday

At 2:30, the Federal Way Symphony’s holiday concert will feature holiday favorites and two great British choral works: Holst’s Christmas Day featuring the Federal Way Chorale and Vaughan William’s Fantasia on Christmas Carols featuring the Chorale and Bass soloist Ryan Bede.

with Billy Joe Huels

For this final concert of the 2023-24 season, they’ll join forces with vocalist Billy Joe Huels for a concert celebrating the American songbook. Music from Johnny Mercer, Cole Porter, Sammy Chan, Ray Charles and other audience favorites will be featured.

The Bach Family Reunion

Countertenor José Luis Muñoz will perform J.S. Bach’s Cantata No. 82, Ich habe genug. Works by three of Bach’s sons and the “21st” of his 20 children, P.D.Q. Bach will also be featured.

Sunday, April 14, 2024 – 2:30 pm

A World Tour: Dresden, Buenos Aires, Lodore, Paris

Spanning four centuries and three continents, this concert will feature an orchestral concerto by Antonio Vivaldi, Joseph Haydn’s Symphony No. 84 and the Northwest premiere of Robert Bassett’s Lodore. Accordion soloist Jamie Maschler will join the orchestra for three tangos by Astor Piazzolla.
